Accessibility
Last updated October 9, 2026
Everyone who works in hospitality should be able to use Gravitas Universe, on any device and in whatever way works for them. This page says what we have built for that, where we still fall short, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
What works today
- The Gate without swiping. Every boarding step (Sit, Visor, Harness) has a button you can tap, click or press Enter on. The arrow keys work too, and screen readers announce each step.
- Pause and Skip. The Gate's video and narration can be paused at any point, and skipped from the first second.
- Captions. The Gate's narration appears as text on screen in all 11 languages. Videos open with captions on in your language when the video has them.
- Sound and text size. The Gate has a sound switch and four text sizes. Wherever background music plays, a mute button is on screen.
Where we fall short
- Not every video has captions in every language yet.
- Background music starts after your first tap or key press on pages that have it.
- We have not had an independent accessibility audit yet.
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Ask for an accommodation
If anything on the site gets in your way, or you need a different way to take part (for example more time, or a version without audio), email legal@gravitasuniverse.com. Tell us which page and what happened. You don't have to explain why you need it. We read every message and will work out an alternative with you.
